How Storage Pricing Works Print

Since this is now a single plan, the question most customers ask isn't "which tier do I need?" — it's "what happens when I grow?" Here's exactly how storage pricing works.

What counts toward storage?

Your storage usage covers your Odoo database plus any attachments and documents you upload — invoices, product images, imported spreadsheets, and so on. Every plan starts with 1GB included for $10/mo.

How to add more storage

When you're getting close to your limit (or just want headroom), open the Storage panel in your dashboard. You'll see a usage bar (e.g. "0.2 GB / 5.0 GB used") and an "Upgrade storage" section with a fixed set of add-on amounts to choose from:

Add-on Price New total (on top of 1GB base)
+2 GB $6 3 GB total — $16/mo
+5 GB $15 6 GB total — $25/mo
+10 GB $30 11 GB total — $40/mo
+15 GB $45 16 GB total — $55/mo
+20 GB $60 21 GB total — $70/mo
+30 GB $90 31 GB total — $100/mo
+40 GB $120 41 GB total — $130/mo
+50 GB $150 51 GB total — $160/mo

Pick an amount and click Upgrade Storage. It applies immediately with no downtime — no support ticket, no waiting.

Important: storage upgrades are one-way

Storage upgrades are permanent for the life of your subscription — you can add storage, but you can't scale it back down afterward. Choose an amount that fits your near-term needs rather than over-buying just in case.

A worked example

A 3-person retail shop typically stays under 5GB for the first year. That's about $25/mo after a single +5GB upgrade from the $10/mo base — far less than most buyers expect to pay for fully managed business software.
