Finding Your Instance URL
Your Odoo instance has its own web address. You can find it in your hosting control panel under your active service. It will look something like yourname.webdiscode.com. You can open it in any web browser — no software installation required.
Logging In for the First Time
When your instance is first created, it comes with a default administrator account:
- Username (Email): admin
- Password: admin
You will be able to log in with these credentials right away. However, you should change your password immediately after your first login to keep your account secure.
How to Change Your Password
Once you are logged in, follow these steps to set a new password:
- Click on your name or avatar in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select My Profile (or Preferences).
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your current password (admin), then type your new password twice.
- Click Save.
Choose a strong password — a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols works best.
If You Get Locked Out
If you forget your password, you can reset it from the login page by clicking Reset Password and entering the email address linked to your admin account. A reset link will be sent to that address.
If you are unable to access your email or are still locked out after a reset attempt, please open a support ticket and we will help you regain access.
