About Your Automatic Backups
Your Odoo instance is backed up automatically every day. Backups run at 3:00 AM UTC and are kept for the most recent 3 days. This means you will always have up to three restore points available at any given time.
Backups happen in the background — there is nothing you need to set up or schedule yourself.
What Is Included in Each Backup
Each daily backup consists of two parts:
- Database dump — a complete snapshot of all your records, including customers, invoices, products, and settings.
- Filestore — all attachments and files stored in your Odoo instance, such as uploaded documents, images, and reports.
Both parts are needed together to fully restore your instance.
How to View and Download a Backup
- Log in to your hosting control panel at host.webdiscode.com.
- Navigate to your Odoo service and click on the Backups card.
- You will see a list of the available backups, each with a date and time.
- Click the Download button next to the backup you want.
The download link is generated fresh each time you click it and is valid for approximately 60 seconds. If your download does not start in time, simply click the button again to get a new link.
Restoring from a Backup
If you need to restore your Odoo instance from a backup, please open a support ticket and let us know which backup date you would like restored. Our team will handle the restoration for you. Please note that a restore will replace your current data with the data from the backup, so make sure you have noted any recent changes you may need to re-enter.
